IT20999: PROCESSOR MODEL IS INCORRECTLY REPORTED BY THE CLIENT FOR INTEL CPUS WITH A VERSION NUMBER

Error description

  • The PVU Estimate functionality shows wrong Proc_Model value for
    all Intel
    CPUs with a version number, due to the client not parsing the
    correct information.
    
    
    For example, consider a E5-2690v4 processor model.

Problem conclusion

  • After the fix modern Intel server CPUs are reported correctly in
    PVU estimate output.
