A CWLLG2101W message indicates that new transactions are not started for IBM Business Process Manager (BPM)

Problem

When you review the SystemOut.log file, you see several error messages that indicate that "no new transaction is started."

Symptom

You might see many error messages like the following text in the SystemOut.log file:
wle W CWLLG2101W: Retries were explicitly requested in ProgrammaticTransactionSupport but no new transaction is started 5 definition: PROPAGATION_REQUIRED, ISOLATION_DEFAULT retryLimit:{2}

Resolving The Problem

This message is harmless as it shows in levels of trace where it does not apply. This problem is described by APAR JR42715. The fix is available in V7.5.1 Fix Pack 1 and 7.5.1 Fix Pack 2.

Further information: This message is intended to be internal to the components that are using transaction support. If one component calls another component within a transaction context and it specifies a number of retries greater than 0, the message is generated.
