Error description

  • Error Description:
    
    Performing a DELETE FILESPACE command can complete successfully
    and yet the filespace will remain in the occupancy table as
    DELETED for nodes which do not participate in deduplication
    processing.

    Example of a DELETE FILESPACE command :

    MYNODE /myfilespace
    ANR0984I Process 565 for DELETE FILESPACE started in the
    BACKGROUND at 15:57:03.
    ANR0800I DELETE FILESPACE /myfilespace (fsId=1) for node MYNODE
    started as process 565.
    ANR0802I DELETE FILESPACE /myfilespace (fsId=1)  (backup/archive
    data) for node MYNODE started.
    ANR0987I Process 565 for DELETE FILESPACE running in the
    BACKGROUND processed 306 items with a completion state  of
    SUCCESS at 15:57:04.
    
    Issuing QUERY OCCUPANCY command afterwards, shows :

    If you tried to issue a further DELETE FILESPACE for the same

    node MYNODE
    
    Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected:

    and above on all platforms
