APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • User has reported a NIC adapter issue on a Windows based virtual
machine which causes network connectivity issues. The
Windows virtual machine using the NIC becomes unavailable on
the network intermittently.

Upon further investigation this is a known Windows 2012 issue
which occurs with the use of the Intel 82574L Gigabit
Network e1000 /  e1000e Base Driver. The PureApplication
Software code does not currently support the Intel e1000e
virtual ethernet NIC adaptor.
