Clearing Cache and Temporary Files From Browser in Maximo

Question

Is it possible to clear temporary files and cache in Maximo?

Answer

Upgrades and/or customization sometimes carried over legacy information from previous versions relating to cache/temp - to assure the browser is fresh prior to accessing the new changes - it's best to clear and/or delete temporary files from your browser depending on which browser is being used.

For IE:


Open the browser
Click Tools / Developer Tools from the browser's toolbar
On dialog, click 'Cache' and select 'Clear Browser Cache ...'
Answer yes in dialog
