APAR status

Error description

  • HATS 8.5.0. When user uses the HATS Administration only
    project to view the log in  *another* EAR file in the server
    frequently, when he views the log file he can see a series of
    errors. User clicks the download link at the top of the screen
    to download the file for offline analysis. However, after
    downloading the file the user does not find the new messages
    there. User only sees old messages. This  is working as if the
    information seen in the  window at the bottom of the screen is
    taken from an internal buffer, but it has not yet been written
    to the file, and the data downloaded is that from the file.
    On clicking the download link only older gets downloaded, but
    when user  goes to the bottom part of the window user was able
    to see the most recent information in the file. At no time is
    user able to download the most current information.

Problem conclusion

  • HATSRUNTIME.JAR has been changed to download the correct
    log/trace files.
