Error description

  • An abend occurs when using an Aggregation Reply Node that has
been configured to use multiple time out threads via a
configurable service when statistics are turned on.

The actual abend can occur in the timeout thread or the
collector thread which publishes the statistics.

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus and Aggregation nodes when
using multiple timeout threads with statistics turned on.


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A flow has an aggregation reply node which has been configured
to use multiple time out threads.  When turning on accounting
and statistics for that flow, the broker can abend .

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been updated to stop the statistics from causing
an abend with the Aggregation Reply node.
