APAR status

Error description

  • When you are deleting a scheduled file in the OFTP Queue
    Monitor UI the attached record in DOCUMENT_LIFESPAN is not
    deleted.
    So the Message is staying in the DB for 10 years and is not
    archived/purged

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    
    When you are deleting a scheduled file in the OFTP Queue Monitor
    UI the attached record in DOCUMENT_LIFESPAN is not deleted.
    So the Message is staying in the DB for 10 years and is not
    archived/purged

Problem conclusion

  • ======================
    RESOLUTION SUMMARY:
    
    Modified the product to solve the problem. When any file is
    scheduled in OFTP system , an entry is created in
    DOCUMENT_LIFESPAN table.
    When we manually delete from UI , the lifespan entry also gets
    removed.

Temporary fix

  • No workaround. Manually delete the entry from DOCUMENT LIFESPAN
    table.
