APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Some queries that happen during OFTP file processing are
missing DB indexes and therefore are very slow. They can get so
slow that Protocol timeouts kick in.

Local fix

  • STRRTC 442087

Workaround: Manually create the index.

Problem summary

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The new correlation entry OFTP search is causing the system to
perform a full Table Scan on DOCUMENTS.

For a large document table (up to several 10000 Messages
a day, 7 days archiving time) the writing of the correlation
record during the SFID in OFTP will sometimes take more than 1
minute.
