Why is the Informatica load session slow when using the Netezza Connector?
Answer
When using the Netezza Connector, you have to expect a performance degradation compared to a native nzload because the Connector requires extra layers of communication traffic with the NPS server. However, there is a setting that can also affect load times.
For load sessions, check to see if you are using the Netezza Connector with primary key constraints enabled or disabled.
The default is enabled and results in slower performance. By setting this to disabled, you will be able to speed up your load sessions.
