DOORS-Change Integration: Error message in debug cmoslc_error.log when RCR apply failed

Troubleshooting


Problem

In the IBM Rational DOORS integration with IBM Rational Change, the RCR apply failed and an "Exception has occurred while submitting SendRequest() in callGetObject()" error message showed in cmoslc_error.log

Symptom

Apply of approved Requirements Change Requests (RCRs) fails and the cmoslc_error.log shows this information:


QueryForCmObjectProperties_New(): URL:http://<...>/change/oslc/db/<database_id>/role/User/cr/<...> Username:<...> Properties:oslc_cm:status

Exception has occurred while submitting SendRequest() in callGetObject(): <object-id>

callGetObject(): Username: <...> CInternetException has occurred Output: S_FALSE

You might also see that the RCR has no status in the DOORS-Change apply dialogue.
