Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempts to connect IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) Eclipse or web UI to the IBM Jazz Team Server (JTS) result in error "Exception: "ORA-00018: maximum number of sessions exceeded"" when using RTC.

Symptom


ERROR .repository.service.internal.rdb.ConnectionFactory - CRJAZ0503I

The server was unable to connect to the following database:

"thin:RTC/xxxxxxxx@//servername.com:1521/CL_PROD.servername.com"

Exception: "ORA-00018: maximum number of sessions exceeded
