IV41216: WHEN TRY TO CHANGE INVENTORY USAGE RECORD TO COMPLETE, GET ERROR

Error description

• Environment:
  Websphere 7.0
  Maximo Asset Management 7.5.0.2 Build 20120219
  Maximo Project Adaptor 7.5.0.0 Build 14
  Windows 2008R2 6.1 Build 7601 Service Pack 1
  DB2 9.7
  
  Concerns/Problem:
  When try to change inventory usage record to complete, error
  occur:
  BMXAA8229W - Record INVLIFOFIFOCOST : Content Unique ID = XXXX
  has been updated by another user. Your changes have not been
  saved. Refresh the
  record and try again.
  
  This issue happens since last week that client created a new
  Organisation with a new site in current Maximo system, the only
  difference is this new site is using FIFO for inventory cost
  while other orgs/sites are using Average costs.
  
  Steps to reproduce the issue on Maximo demmo:
  Open the site FLEET in the organisation application,
  Change the inventory cost for this site to FIFO.
  Set the maxadmin default site to  FLEET
  Go to Item application, create a new item (TEST01) and add it to
  storeroom (CGY in FLEET).
  The inventory cost for this item in CGY storeroom is FIFO.
  Go to Inventory Usage application,
  Create a new usage record (1027) with the storeroom = CGY
  Create two issues for the same item (TEST01) for different GL
  Debit Accounts.
  Change the Inventory Usage status to Complete, get the below
  error:
  BMXAA8229W - Record INVLIFOFIFOCOST : Content Unique
  ID=ba25a55f-d02c-4875-9e44-df2ff70aafdf has been updated by
  another user. Your changes have not been saved. Refresh the
  record and try again.

Problem conclusion

• This is fixed in 7.5.0.3. APAR was created for hotfix 7502.
