Error description

• In some environments, the install will fail with a message like
  this:
  
    /install.sh[3572]: .: line 630: 0901B: arithmetic syntax error
  
  This happens on systems where ksh93 is the default Korn shell
  and where the db2level command returns non-numeric characters
  in its version output.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  Attempt to install an ITM component on a system where ksh93 is
  the default Korn shell and where the db2level command returns
  non-numeric charactes in its version output.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• In some environments, the install fails with a message like

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed to tolerate non-numeric characters in
