IV27284: SCREEN JUMPS TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BROWSER UNEXPECTEDLY.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The screen jumps to the right side of the browser window
  and the focus is changing to the BookMark after clicking
  on any field other than the identifier like WONUM in case
  of WOTRACK application.
  
  The customer expects the behavior of the previous releases
  like 7.1 or 6.2.
  
  STEPS TO RECREATE:
  I am able to recreate the issue in my 7.5.0.3 environment
  with every application like WOTRACK, SR, Assets, or
  Database Configuration.
  
  Here is the exact step to recreate.
  
  1) From "Go To"-"Work Orders"-"Work Order Tracking", hit
  the enter key on the list tab to list the work orders.
  
  2) Click on any field of a row in the list other than "Work
  Order" field. In this scenario, I clicked on "Description"
  field of the Work Order 2000.
  
  3) Right after that, the screen jumps to the right side of
  the browser window and the focus is changing to the BookMark.
  
  Since this behavior is painful from the customer's point of
  view, he expects that the focus remains on the field selected
  by the user.
  
  I also verified that this issue does not happen in my
  BS 7.1.1.7 env.
  

Local fix

• Manually modify the application xml so that the bookmark icon
  on the list tab will be moved from the right side of the window
  to the left.
