APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Static constructor and destructor functions of classes defined
  in unnamed namespaces have their symbol names mangled using the
  name of the source file they are contained within.  If multiple
  source files have the same filename, and same class/function
  names, the generated mangled names are identical to each other.
  
  When static initialization is performed, the functions can not
  be distinguished from each other, and the first matching
  function symbol from the first object file on the link line is
  used for each static init call.
  

Local fix

• Rename source files with unique filenames.
  

Problem summary

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Incorrect function calls from unnamed namespaces due to
  non-unique mangled function names.
  
  USERS AFFECTED:
  Users with unnamed namespaces containing static constructors
  and destructors contained in source files with the same name.
  

Problem conclusion

• The directory of the source file is now used to mangle the
  function name to distinguish between source files with the same
  name.
