Sterling Control Center monitoring error on node 2 involving SOARequstHandler and SOA_MessageHandler on node 1

Troubleshooting

Problem

Sterling Control Center monitoring error on node 2 involving SOARequstHandler and SOA_MessageHandler on node 1

Symptom

Sterling Control Center monitoring one node of a GIS cluster. When monitoring Node 2 an error occurs regarding the SOARequestHandler and the SOA_MessageHandler bp on Node 1.

SOA.properties on node 1 have been modified (despite documentation that advises against making changes to this property file because of unpredictable behavior) at some point to a different SOAP ports for both http and https.
Some SOA.properties overrides in the customer_overrides.properties file which mention namespace values. These changes to the properties files have only been observed on node 1 and not on node 2 where the SCC is working.
Customer stated that professional services was on site developing a Soap Service and made these property changes. There is concerned that there have been other property file changes that could be affecting node 1 and the SOA.properties, but there is no way to know which properties (if any) are affected.
.
Error Message

com.sterlingcommerce.woodstock.workflow.WorkFlowException: The value of the attribute "prefix="xmlns",localpart="s",rawname="xmlns:s"" is invalid. Prefixed namespace bindings may not be empty.
