IY97327: WORK PROCESS RMS IN ERROR DUE TO "**" IN FIELD FROM SAP WHERE WE EXPECT A NUMBER.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• All WPS (Work Process Status) RMs go into Error state.  The "Dis
  play Work Processes" task shows that SAP is putting ** in the
  Err column on some lines of the report.  In trace_dmxengine.log
  file we see:

  java.lang.NumberFormatException: **
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Asterisks appeared when the code was expecting a number. Now it
  will reset to 0.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenace
