APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • JSC 1.3 with FixPack 01 applied.

Edit a Job Stream as follows ...
 Default Database Lists ->
 All Job Streams ->
 <select> Job Stream ->
 open selected Job Stream ->
open Properties->
 <select> Files
.
Then fill in a file name, workstation and qualifier (ie -f %p),
then click OK and close window.

Now reopen the the Properties window and select Files.  Note
that the qualifier is missing.

Local fix

  • Move onto a different field after entering the qualifier (ie
press tab to wrap around to the file name field or click the
green cross for a new opens dependency then click OK and the
qualifier is retained.

This problem does not exist in JSC 1.2 + FP07

Problem summary

  • The problem was related to a missing "stopEditing()" call on
the File dependencies editor.

Problem conclusion

  • We have changed the code to call the "stopEditing()" method.
