Closed as program error.
Error description
Customer is using WebSeal 4.1 FP02. On a request like "GET / http/1.1", webseal returns a 'bad request' error. There was a defect 32959 for WebSeal to address the methods in lower case but looks like this is an issue as well.
Local fix
Problem summary
WebSEAL returns a 503 server error if the 'HTTP' in the request is not all uppercase.
Problem conclusion
Fixed in 4.1-AWS-0008LA. Changed the code to be case-independant on the 'http'.
