Error description
Customer is running TAM 4.1 on AIX 4.3.3. Here is the recreate scenario. Must be in a Japanese language environment to recreate. . Scenario is 1. Start AM using "pd_start start" command. 2. Check file size using ls -l command. 3. Clear this file using the following method. 1. cp /dev/null msg__notice.log.1 or 2. true > msg__notice.log.1 4. Confirm file size to 0byte using ls -l command. 5. Stop AM using "pd_start stop" command. 6. The contents of this file is NULL of 1713byte with "stop listen" message.

The customer is complaining of data corruption in the msg_notice file. They are writing to a file that is being used by Access Manager. They should not try to do this while Access Manager is running. An email from Glen Sequeira to Gary Linker has been sent and Gary and updated the PMR accordingly.
