Error description

  • [Problem Description]
    When trying to delete an existed applicatoinauth record by
    importing dat file via MIF, receiving error : BMXAA4214E - An
    unknown error has occurred. Please contact your system
    administrator for assistance. Gather the logs from the <HOME>
    directory and determine where and why the error is thrown. null
    
    [Environment]
    Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.0.8
    
    [Replicate Steps]
    (1) Go to 'Object Structure' application, click 'New'.
    put name 'AUTHTEST', add 'applicationauth' as source object,
    tick 'Support Flat Structure'. Save the record
    
    (2) Go to 'Enterprise Services' application, click 'New'.
    Put 'AUTHTEST' as the name, Operation: 'Sync'
    put 'AUTHTEST' as object structure. Click 'Save'
    
    (3) Then click action 'Message Tracking', on the popup dialog
    click 'Enable Message Tracking?'
    
    (4) Go to 'External Systems' application.
    Filter 'EXTSYS1' and expand the details.
    
    (5) On 'Enterprise Services' tab, Click 'New Row'
    select 'AUTHTEST' as the 'Enterprise Service', tick 'Enabled'
    checkbox Untick 'Use Continuous Queue' checkbox. Save the
    record.
    
    (6) Prepare below text file(MIF_delete_operation.dat) for
    import.
    
    EXTSYS1,AUTHTEST,DELETE,EN
    APP,APPLICATIONAUTHID,CONDITIONNUM,GROUPNAME,OPTIONNAME
    ASSET,,,MAXADMIN,DELETE
    
    (7) Click 'Data Import' , on popup dialog, tick 'Flat File'
    option then point to the location of above
    MIF_delete_operation.dat. Click 'OK'
    and wait for below info message showing
    
    message: BMXAA56221 - inbound transaction has been processed
    successfully to queue
    
    (8) Wait a while for JMS crontask taking action.
    
    (9) Go to 'Message Tracking' application. Noticed below ERROR
    being detected
    
    BMXAA4214E - An unknown error has occurred. Please contact your
    system administrator for assistance. Gather the logs from the
    <HOME> directory and determine where and why the error is
    thrown.  null
    
    [Expected Result] applicationauth record is able to be deleted
    via MIF file importing.
    
    [Current Erronous Result] error occurring if trying to delete
    existed applicationauth record via MIF on TPAE 7.6.0.8
    environment.
