IV97284: DUPLICATED MESSAGE DIALOG POPPED UP IF FAILED TO CHANGE CHILD WO STATUS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• STEPS TO REPLICATE:
  1. go to system properties application > Set
  mxe.workorder.additionalErrHandling=1 and
  mxe.workorder.rollbackstatus=1 > save the change and click
  'Live Refresh'
  2. go to Conditional Expression Manager application > create
  new condition (ie. DESCR)
  expression = :description != ''
  select "Always Evaluate" checkbox
  save
  3. go to Domains application > bring up the WOSTATUS domain,
  select APPR Synonym Domain
  (default checkbox is selected)
  Click View/Modify Condition button to open the dialog box
  Click New Row
  value ID = WOSTATUS|APPR
  Condition Number is the condition created in step 1 above e.g.
  DESCR
  Object Name=WORKORDER
  Type=EXPRESSION
  Expression= != ''
  4. Go To Work Order Tracking(CM) Create a work order, say WO1
  with inherit status checkbox as checked
  and in WAPPR status.
  Enter some description value like 'xyz'
  5. go to the Plans tab, click New Row to create a child work
  order the Child WO # will be automatically generated
  overwrite the child wo # with WO11
  select the inherit status checkbox
  Leave the description blank for child work order WO11
  6. click New Row to add another child work order for WO1,
  named as WO12
  Leave the description blank for child work order WO12
  7. Save the respective work order records
  8. Change status of WO1 work order. e.g.: Changing it to APPR
