  Coredumps may not get generated using dump agents(-Xdump) and
  kill -3 <pid> when JVM shutdown is initiated.
  Generate coredumps using gcore <pid> in linux. Use similar
  commands in other platforms
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem is caused when the a thread, after calling
  DestroyJavaVM and receiving an error return code, calls
  DetachCurrentThread resulting in a deadlock.
  

Problem conclusion

• JVM has been modified to avoid the hang situation during its
  shutdown
  .
  This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
     8    SR4 FP5   (8.0.4.5)
