Error description

  • PROBLEM:
Maximo screen locks up while using $sysdate$ in maximo formula

PERFORMANCE ISSUE: N

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
(1) Create an non-persistant attribute like mypriority for
object asset
(2) Go to Database Configuration, in More Action, click on
Add/Modify Formula for Attribute
(3) Create a new attribute formula.
Object = ASSET, Attribute = MYPRIORITY (same as non-persistant
attr).  Formula = $sysdate$-priority
(4) Turn off Async, turn on Active, Save
(5) In Application Designer, add a new field to Asset
Application for mypriority (new Attribute)
(6) Go to Asset App, refresh the list, you should get the issue
same as customer. (Locked up)

(7) Go to Database Configuration, in More Action, click on
Add/Modify Formula for Attribute
(8) Deactive the formula for Object = ASSET, Attribute =
MYPRIORITY, repeat step (6), the issue remains.

(9) Go to Database Configuration, in More Action, click on
Add/Modify Formula for Attribute
(10) Change the formula from $sysdate$-priority to priority to
Object = ASSET, Attribute = MYPRIORITY, repeat step (6), the
issue remains.

CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
Screen locks up when using $sysdate$ in formula and even after
being removed.

EXPECTED RESULT:
Screen should not lookup when using $sysdate$ and it is removed
