APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • 1. Go to inventory usage application > create new inventory
    usage
    2. select storeroom / select rotating item / select to
    storeroom / **leave the asset number blank then save
    3. check if asset number list of rotating item shows in asset
    number field lookup >> You will see the list
    4. change status to stage / from split usage quantity dialog
    add new row in select rotating asset 1 for table > click lookup
    for asset number >> You will see no list
    5. leave the asset number blank > ok
    6. change status to shipped / from split usage quantity dialog
    add new
    row in select rotating asset 1 for table > click lookup for
    asset
    number >> You will see no list
    7. leave the asset number blank > ok
    8. Receive the rotating item from shipment receving.
    

Local fix

  • In Split Usage Dialog, client is encouraged to use Auto-Split
    button to get proper Rotating Assets to assign to the rotating
    item.
    Using Auto-Split button is the solution if client cannot see it
    from Lookup.
