Error description
When attempting to change the branding on the main TRIRIGA application page from the IBM logo to the client logo, it was found that the only way to get the branding changed was to place the file in the userfiles/images directory for the application server and set the permissions to allow it to be read. This is counter to the logo coming from the newly created USERFILES table.
Local fix
Problem summary
The startup process was not checking the database for the custom logo, only the file system.
Problem conclusion
This change set makes it possible to overide the default IBM Tririga logo on the main page and in the admin console with custom company logos. To overide the default logo set do the following: 1. Create one or all of the custom images and name it 'logo.gif' , 'logoRTL.gif' or 'logoAdminConsole.gif' 2. With the server running, place the image/images in 'userfiles/images' 3. Clear the cache in Admin Console 4. Clear the cache in the browser and refresh the page. In order to revert to the default logo set do the following: 1. run the following script: delete from userfiles where fileloc = '/images/logo.gif' or fileloc ='/images/logoRTL.gif' or fileloc ='/images/logoAdminConsole.gif'; 2. clear admin cache and browser cache 3. restart the server. This is resolved in the 3.5.1 release, as well as the 3.5.0.1 fix pack.
