designate scan points, within BigFix to the latest available
version

Problem conclusion


    

  • I will add some explanations for this issue:
After we upgrade our nmap version to 6.0.0.4, this bug had been
reported in bug
#65452. In some cases, this bug will influence win xp sp2, win
xp sp3 and win
server 2003 sp1 and sp2. The newest nmap version will solve this
issue. But we
are stuck in getting nmap license from IBM.

Currently, we suggest the customer to use win7 as a valid scan
point if they
encounter this issue.
