Expected to find core file with name "<HAT>00/ usr/libexec/abrt-hook-ccpp /var/spool/abrt <#pid> ..." . Stack Trace: N/A .
Local fix
abrt can be disabled by running (as root) service abrtd stop
Problem summary
Linux RHEL6 allows the /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern to start with a Unix pipe (<HAT>00) character to indicate that the core file is to be redirected to an external command. In this case the Java VM is unable to locate and process the core dump.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 6.0.0 SR9 5.0.0 SR12 FP2 . The Java VM has been updated to look for a default core file name, typically core.<#pid>. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20100924 or later
