Error description

• When changing the community string or snmp version for a device,
  or group of devices, either within the GUI SNMP Password
  Properties page, or manually changing it within the config
  files, two discoveries must be run before the correct community
  string or version is known by ITNM for the device.

  * In certain situations (usually when the currently assigned   *
  * credentials continue to work), updating the configured SNMP  *
  * credentials in the Password table of the Discovery           *
  * Configuration GUI or editing SnmpStackSecurityInfo.cfg       *
  * directly fails to be honoured by the ncp_dh_snmp and         *
  * ncp_poller processes in a timely fashion.                    *

  The problem most often occurs when 1) a device has already been
  discovered successfully, and 2) the old credentials are still in
  use by one or more other devices, and ITNM is still configured
  to use those credentials.  ITNM continues to use the old
  credentials for the original device.
