ABM0 abend using CMIM (SCI55987)

Symptom

Type in CMIM get blank screen and ABM0
CICS messsages are DFHAC2206 15:49:04 CICSCICS Transaction CMIM failed with abend ABM0.  Updates to local recoverable resources backed out.

Resolving The Problem



That abend code ABM0 is from CICS. The explanation for this code is :



The map specified for a basic mapping support (BMS) request could not be located.



Possible causes are:  



Make sure all the Connect CICS modules are in your load lib.  In Connect 1.2.0 CICS loadlib are 75 Connect members



CICS may require NEWCOPY of the map if a load failed.  A CEMT INQ of the program/map shows status REQ. When using CMIM with CEDF the load failed with a RESP2=3.  If the CICS Application Programming Reference manual, under LOAD is documented: 



A program could not be loaded because:







This was the first load of the program and the program load failed, usually because the load module could not be found.



This was a subsequent load of the program, but the first load failed.



In order to reset the load status the load module must be in the DFHRPL concatenation, and a SET PROGRAM NEWCOPY will be required
