Problem

When SJIS (Shift-JIS, Japanese) encoding is selected in the output side of a map, constants with Japanese characters do not output correctly (SCI58412)

Symptom

When SJIS (Shift-JIS, Japanese) encoding is selected in the output side of a map, constants with Japanese characters do not output correctly
Using Kanji and Katakana characters in a constants results in the output value showing as ????? in the output file.
