Error description

• * Environment:
  ITM 6.2.1 / TEC integration
  
  * Problem Description:
    SUF not working when the manage system name contains special
    characters.
  
  * Detailed Recreation Procedure:
    This can be recreated using the ITCAM for WAS agent where
    the manage system name includes the WAS nodename and the WAS
    application separated by a dollar sign.
    Acknowledgements done on TEC/Omnibus are not reflected on the
    TEMS because of a wrong <source> tag is specified in the SOAP
    request.

Local fix

Problem summary

• The SOAP request that is generated by Event Synchronization to
  send back to the IBM Tivoli Management Server causes a parse
  error due to the managed system name of the situation containing
  special XML characters.
  

Problem conclusion

• The managed system name of the situation is now embedded in a
  CDATA section in the SOAP request. This allows the request to
  parse correctly, and synchronization to be successful.
