LaunchPad does not start installation of Rational Team products version 8.0/7.1.3 on Windows 7 machines

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you try to start an installation of IBM Rational ClearCase, IBM Rational ClearQuest, or IBM Rational RequisitePro on a Windows 7 machine, the IBM Installation Manager program does not start.

Symptom

The Installation Manager window does not open when the link to install a product from Launchpad is selected.
