Error description

  • Error Message: The file separators for Windows Platforms are
    displayed as a mix of '/' and '%5c', instead of '\'.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • While using the ClassLoader.getResource() method to obtain
    the URL for a folder located on the system, if url.getFile() is
    called it returns a mix of '/' and '%5c' causing customer
    program to not find the parent of the folder
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR10
    .
    The reported problem was resolved by incorporating the changes,
    from the sunbug#6519337.
    According to the above SunBug, the by adding the required
    ParseUtil.encode statements the problem was resolved.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20090130 or later
