Problem conclusion

  • This is a customization of the OOTB functionality of the PR
    Application and Reporting.

We use the lookups available within the Maximo Application. If
there is not a field validation class to support a lookup on
the PRNUM field, then we will not be able to use that
(resulting in an Invalid Binding error).

Customizations are not handled by development, but are instead
forwarded to a Professional Services type representative for
further advice on how to proceed. A certain understanding on
the internal workings of the Report Administration could be
lacking here and having someone specific to Maximo
customizations look at this is preferrable.

This APAR is rejected because development cannot fix what the
customer is trying to do in a core uncustomized version of the
    product.
