APAR status

Error description

• ENV:
  8.3 fixpack 4 MDM engine on AIX platform
  8.3 fixpack 4 JSC

  ERROR:
  .
  When several (10 or more) JSC users try to browse joblog at the
  sametime, this will cause a TWS WAS (websphere) hang.  When this
  happens, WAS needs to be recycled before JSC will work again.
  .
  L3 determined this is caused by a memory leak which could
  exhaust all native heap available on AIX MDM box for TWS WAS
  java process.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• See apar description. Into the TWS
  Connector there were a memory leak when performing
  from JSC BrowseJobLog that can causes if this operation
  is done regularly memory leak that can fill the native
  heap.
  

Problem conclusion

• This apar has been fixed
  with 8.3.0-TIV-TWS-FP0005 and 8.4.0-TIV-TWS-FP0001.
