Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to connect to the Modeler server or admin console result in 'Failed to connect to server user@server:port Server exception: java.io.EOFException.' Connections were successful the previous business day.
Symptom
At log on time the following error is thrown:
Failed to connect to server user@server:port
IBM SPSS Modeler Server 14.1.1
Server exception: java.io.EOFException
The messages.log (found in the IBM SPSS Modeler installation folder) shows following:
Failed to open server socket (E3176: EInvalidSocketError (10013))
