  • After applying APAR JR45153, the same unique promotion codes can
be applied to multiple orders.

  • USERS AFFECTED:
Users that have APAR JR45153 installed.

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
The same unique promotion code is able to be applied on multiple
consecutive orders.

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Unique promotions are not being treated as unique and this
allows multiple uses of the promotion code.

RECOMMENDATION:

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • After having applied APAR JR45153, a performance enhancement
APAR for the generation or import of promotion codes in approved
 content and in workspaces, the table PX_CDPROMO will no longer
be populated with entries to maintain the relationship between
PX_PROMOTION and PX_CDPOOL.

That fix was incomplete and requires additional logic.  This fix
adds a new query that will compensate for this change in the
retrieval of promotion codes.
