Question & Answer
Question
The MIXED procedure (Analyze>Mixed Models>Linear) in SPSS Statistics allows you to designatie predictors as Factors or Covariates prior to setting other options (i.e. fixed and random effects, estimation, etc.). The GENLINMIXED procedure (Analyze>Mixed Models>Generalized Linear) that was introduced in version 19.0 does not provide a dialog or subcommand to distinguish predictors in this manner. Is such a distinction possible in the latter procedure?
