Error description

  • Migrated BPD instances, which are stopped at an UCA, can not be
    executed after they are migrated from WLE 7.2.0.2 to BPM 7.5.1.
    
    Before migration, there are some BPD instances stopped at an UCA
    (waiting for trigger condition to next activity).
    Post migration to 7.5.1, these BPD instances can not be
    executed any more.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem is fixed in interim fix JR43096.
    It is also fixed in future fix packs/releases.
    
    JR43096 pre-requisites JR42683.
    Install Instructions:
    
    1. Install JR42683 and JR43096 using Installation Manager
    2. Backup the BPM databases
    3. On Process Center/Server run upgrade7x using the
    instructions outlined in
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/dmndhelp/v7r5m1/topic/c
    om.ibm.wbpm.imuc.doc/upgrade/topic/upgrading_existing_dbs_751.ht
    ml
    - Perform Step 1 outlined in the above link and along with the
    parameters mentioned in the above link, pass another parameter
    for this interim fix.
    e.g. upgrade_7x.sh -profileName <profile_name> -nodeName
    <node_name> -serverName <server_name> -ifix JR43096
