Error description

  • dsjob syntax is wrong when DataStage Idoc job is automatically
kicked off and DSJOB Password File Path is empty

The box for "Run appropriate DataStage jobs automatically after
receiving IDocs from this SAP system" selected.  When DSJOB
Password File Path is empty, syntax for dsjob is wrong.

Problem summary


    

  • The dsjob command that is logged to the IDocListener.log file
is incorrect:

 It looks like

 /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSEngine/bin/dsjobdsjob
-domain iommi:9080 -userisadmin -password ****  -server IOMMI
-run ANALYZERPROJECT ZDEBMAS06Extract

 but it should look like

 /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSEngine/bin/dsjob  -domain
iommi:9080 -user isadmin -password ****  -server IOMMI -run
ANALYZERPROJECT ZDEBMAS06Extract

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code fix. The dsjob command that is logged into the
IDocListener.log file is correct now (only the log entry was
incorrect, not the command issued)
