Fisher Exact Test shows a value for a test statistic in R x C tables

Troubleshooting

Problem

I'm running the CROSSTABS procedure in SPSS/PASW Statistics with the Exact Tests module. When I request exact or monte carlo results for chi-square tests with a table with more than two rows and/or columns, in addition to the expected two-sided exact signficance I also get a number in the "Value" column where the chi-square statistics are listed for the other tests. What is this number?
