  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If no data has yet flowed thru the IPC link then it doen't
    respond to the stop request. This results in the job hanging.
    

Local fix

  • Disable IPC in the job.
    

Problem summary

  • For a DataStage server RealTime Job using Interprocess
    active-to-active links
    If no data has passed through the IPC link it may be
    unresponsive to a stop request.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed IPC code to check for stop request when
    blocking in initial state
