Can one get one-tailed tests in Logistic Regression by dividing significance levels in half?

Troubleshooting

Problem

I am running the SPSS Logistic Regression procedure. Some of my alternative hypotheses about predictor effects are directional. Is it a legitimate practice to divide the significance level, i.e. the p value, by 2 to get a one-tailed test for such effects?
