APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If you create sybase wrapper using an upsupported version(like
12.0), the create server statement can run sucessfully. But
a Federation Server crash may result when trying to execute
future actions.

Local fix

  • You can alter the version to be the correct value:
ALTER SERVER <server_name> VERSION <correct_value>

Problem summary

   Users of the Sybase wrapper in InfoSphere Federation Server
Problem description and summary:
   See error description.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem was first fixed in Version 9.7 FixPak 2 (s100514). This
fix should be applied on the federation server.
