**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Pre-8.1 DataStage users that use the NLS character sets. **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DataStage transformer stages can contain stage variable definitions that include constant (literal) strings. When the literal string contains accented characters an error can occur when compiling the job. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Apply the patch for JR35588. ****************************************************************
