Problem
I have successfully installed SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys. When I try to launch the application, I receive an error stating: "Launcher Error 0005 Java VM not found." What is wrong?
Resolving The Problem
This error will occur if you launch the executable for the application from a location outside the installation directory, typically C:\Program Files\SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys. This can happen if you try to create a shortcut for the STAS.exe but end up moving the executable instead. Please make sure your installation directory contains the STAS.exe file. If not, uninstall and reinstall SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys
