APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Unable to run a copy style compact or delete a database.  The
error "Database is currently in use by you or another user" is
reported.  If you run the Domino console commands "dbache show"

or "show users", you will not see the database listed as opened.
 If you run "show opendatabases" the database will be reported.
The database can be deleted if the update task is restarted.
However; the update task does not indicate that it is operating
on the database that is locked.

Local fix

  • Restart the update task and retry to compact or delete the
database.
