Troubleshooting
Problem
In SPSS for Windows, I am using Data->Restructure to rearrange cases into variables. Under Step 2, I have selected my Identifier and Index variables. When I clicked FINISH, I got the following Warning message: The INDEX values for case ## have occurred before in the cases with the same ID values. This command is not executed. What am I doing wrong? Shouldn't new variables have been created?
